Spring-ish Cleaning

So today I got a wild hair and decided it was time to do some spring-ish cleaning. I was motivated enough to even take some before and after photos to share with my blog followers All two of you! I also wanted the documentation just in case it is messy again before Jason gets home from work!

Disclaimer: Jason: don't be upset about me posting the "before" photos. They aren't that bad and no one is going to think we're slobs. I promise!

Introducing: Dr. Lindsay Willis D'Amico

On the 21st of May Lindsay recieved her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Virginia Commonwealth University! I was so honored to have been invited to share in her special day. (Especially since I wasn't around for Lindsay and Brad's OTHER special day.. Happy Anniversary, guys). Everyone gathered in to see all of the graduates walk across that stage after, what is sure to have been, a very long EIGHT years! I'm sure that it was all very worth it.

I know that her parents were very proud of her!

Lindsay and I had the "leg pop" down to a science.

Congratulations to Dr. Lindsay Willis D'Amico and Brad D'Amico. We wish them all the best and promise we will come to Charlotte soon!

Myrtle Beach Bike Week 2011

May 14th-21st, 2011 kicked off the annual Myrtle Beach Bike Week Spring Rally. We attended from Saturday until Thursday, and the word fun truly is an understatement. We put MANY more miles on the bike during this trip. We rode basically every night and the weather was beautiful!

As you can see I was introduced to the word of "bandanna wearing". In my opinion, it was a hit. Everyone else thought I looked like I was ready for Halloween dressed up in my "Biker Costume". Turns out I was usually the only one in our group wearing a bandanna (I at least thought Will was gonna rock the orange, but it didn't happen). Oh well, turns out the biker headgear bandanna kept my hair semi-under control while riding.

<--Only one in a bandanna

On this night we went to Crocodile Rocks which is a piano bar. If you have never been to one, I highly recommend you go. You tip the dueling pianist to play a song of your choice. We had the pleasure of getting caught up in a dueling states event between Virginia and New York. We started out giving $10 and, of course, NY gave $11. $180 later who do you think came out on top??.... Good Ole' Virginia! :)

We set foot on the beach only once, but it made for some extreme Kodak moments. Jason and Will decided they could touch the moon. (This shot took about 15 frames to actually get right.. but we eventually got it thanks to my stellar photography skills)

The trip was a huge sucess!

We left on Thursday in order to return home to attend another major event... what could it be? Better stay tuned to find out!

Introducing: Mr. & Mrs. Joshua Parrish

On May 7th, 2011 our friends Josh and Nellie tied the knot! The wedding was held at Rosemont Winery in Lacrosse, Virginia. Everything was absolutly perfect. The food was great, the wine was even better, and Nellie looked simply stunning.

Oh, Josh looked great also!

Blac, Randy, Charles, Nellie's brother and bother-in-law stood proudly beside Josh as he recited his vows. Nellie's bridal party consisted of her sister and many of her RMC college friends. They all looked great.

Everyone had a great night of dancing, drinking wine, and bonding with close friends. We are so thankful that Nellie and Josh allowed us share in their special day. We wish them all the best and much happiness in their marriage.

Bike Week on The OBX

April 16-24th, 2011 was the 9th Annual Outer Banks Bike Week. We didn't stay the entire time, but still enjoyed spending time with friends and putting a few 14, to be exact miles on Jason's Bike . The guys went down a few days early. It goes without saying that they probably had more fun those days since I heard Jason slept here.

Cynthia, Amanda, and I rode down together. We picked up these extremely fitting stemless wine glasses. (Only one broke during the trip, but was replaced on the way home!) They were put to good use and served as a great accessory to our outfits. When we arrived we found the guys at Port O'Call and spend the remainder of the night there.

The following photos sum up the night:

THE END!

See ya next year, OBX

Catching Up.

So, in the wake of my boredom due to unemployment I decided that blogging would be a great way to document what's going on in this, flat out boring, currently less eventful journey I call life.

(Hi, Mom, Wend, Gale, Gail, and Linda. I have a feeling you guys are the only ones that will even click this...so enjoy...)

Actually, I take that back. This past month has been quite eventful. Beach trips, graduations, and countless weddings make for a very fun, yet tiring summer.

The following blogposts will hopefully catch you up on what I have been doing since being released from Longwood Regional Jail University for the summer.
